Sarah’s Go-To Summer Saturday

Method

  1. Snooze alarm. Sleep in past 9am. Fresh linen. Make bed. 

  2. Walk to the corner store. Pick up that flaky pastry you’ve been eyeing off and a cold brew. Enjoy it.

  3. Drive to the beach. Lay out a bright, colourful towel. Sunnies and sunblock on. Audiobook. Mandatory. Dive into the nippy water. 

  4. Swing past the morning markets. Grab a bunch of flowers for your room. No such thing as a bunch too big. 

  5. Lunchtime. Hot chook and avo on white, fluffy sourdough. Iced sparkling water with a squeeze of lime. 

  6. Invite friends over. Play cards. Laugh with them. Jump in the pool. Share stories. Listen. 

  7. Make a platter. Focaccia. Olives. Apricots. Cold meats. Artichokes. Eggplant dip. Triple brie. All goes. 

  8. Blast your favourite song. Really blast it.

  9. Put on your favourite outfit. Pour a drink and dance the night away.
